Basic Course: Introduction to Botbuilding<\/b><\/h4>

Conversational AI is a human\u2019s ability to speak with a computer in a human language, instead of the computer\u2019s. Using tools such as rule-based chatbots, NLP, NLU and NLG (Natural Language Processing, Understanding and Generating), conversation designers shape, write and create the ways in which a digital interface can communicate with a person.<\/p>

As conversation designers, you\u2019ll be spending most of your time chatting with bots and reviewing conversations. This process is an art form in its own right and with enough practice, you\u2019ll learn how to recognize one line fallbacks, repair messages and so forth.<\/p>

The Basic Course will introduce you to the wonderful world of conversational AI.\u00a0<\/p>

What is a chatbot? Is Siri a chatbot? What is it good for? What kinds of chatbots are there? What do you need to know before launching a chatbot? What is a component, a happy path, a flow?<\/p>
